For this slip adapter, what is the thread type and size for the barb fitting that screws into it? UV Sterilizer Reducer Kit, 2” PVC to 3/4” barb

I really want to know how and if it is possible to get one of these bloody UV units with a 5/8" barb I/O. If I know what the interior thread is for the slip adapter then I can find the appropriate 5/8" barb fitting. Also, I assume the slip fitting must be glued into the 2" PVC port. If so, how does one prevent excess glue from messing up the quartz sleeve or the water flow cavity? Seems like a bad idea. This experience of trying to find out the precise configuration of the unit has been very frustrating. And No one is home on Friday at Aqua UV.
